Manifesto

ProjectManager360°.15+ yearsin digital.No guesswork.

I've spent 15+ years between business, technology and design. My edge is a 360° view: I've written code, designed interfaces, taught UX and answered for ROI. That's why I speak every team's language and catch risks before they blow up.

I lead large, multidisciplinary teams —business, IT, architecture, design, development, QA, legal and vendors— spread across several countries. I combine predictive and agile management, and every phase ends at a gate where the sponsor decides with data: go, adjust or stop.

My life runs on the same system as my projects: backlog, priorities, reviews and an inventory of everything. That's how I keep several projects going at once with the same rigor and the same order, without any of them losing true north.

Avianca · SAP SuccessFactors integration and mailings. As consultant Project Manager with WigiLabs I led 5 sprints with architecture, engineering, QA and two Product Owners. I designed hybrid StageGate + Scrum governance, froze scope with 17 owned decisions and closed Sprint 0 with ~95% of cases covered by rules. I also set the technical brief for transactional mailings built for a ~87% mobile audience.

I test technology before I give an opinion on it.

I review devices, trends, usability and reach so the team decides with real usage data, not assumptions. At home I apply the same order: catalogued collections and six pets on routines that never slip.

Frequently asked questions

Who is Miguel Ángel Rincón León?

He is a Project Manager and PMO lead based in Bogotá, Colombia, with 15+ years in digital and technology projects. He is currently PMO Manager at the empire, a technology agency, and was a university lecturer in UX/UI and digital product. Online he goes by mianrile.

What kind of projects does he specialize in?

Digital transformation projects, enterprise integrations such as SAP SuccessFactors, institutional web platforms and digital product launches, using hybrid StageGate + Scrum governance.

Why did he move from designer to developer and then to Project Manager?

It was a natural growth curve. He started as a designer and art director creating brands, identities and apps; to make those designs work he learned to build them (XAML, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP). Working between design, code and business, he ended up coordinating teams, budgets and deliveries, which led him to lead projects and a PMO. That path is his 360° view.

What sets him apart from other Project Managers?

His 360° view: he comes from code, design, user experience and analytics, and he answers for ROI. That lets him anticipate technical risks and speak every team's language.

What results has he achieved?

+20% portfolio ROI, –15% cycle time and +25% delivery rate at the empire's PMO, and ~95% of cases covered by rules at Sprint 0 close in the SAP SuccessFactors integration for Avianca.

Which clients has he worked with?

Avianca, Museo Nacional de Colombia, COTELCO, IDU, Fragmentos, Fundación Auralia, Global Rec, Dimayor and Microsoft Colombia, among others; brands such as Casa Tang, Yujju, MamaPancha and Digital Girls; and agencies such as the empire, WigiLabs, Ogilvy and Grupo Sancho BBDO.

How does he keep up with technology?

He tests devices before giving an opinion: Meta Quest 3, Rabbit R1, iKKO MindOne Pro, a HiBy player and every game console. He checks usability, trends and reach so the team decides with real usage data, not assumptions.

Is he available, and in what format?

Yes. He is looking for a Project Manager, Project Director or PMO role. He is based in Bogotá and open to on-site, hybrid or remote work, to travel, and to relocating to another city or country.

How can I contact him?

By email at nexsus85@gmail.com, on LinkedIn (linkedin.com/in/mianrile) or by scanning the QR code on mianrile.com, which saves his contact.
